As MA+CH continues efforts to revive the textile industry in America, we hosted Congressman Paul Tonko and Schenectady Mayor, Gary McCarthy to give them a tour of our textile design studio and share some plans for the future. We exhibited how the production of our garments and textile designs develop, and the unique way we integrate our Phly-Dye process. Going beyond these methods, we share how the latest technology in fiber-reactive printing fits into our production here at the MA+CH Studio, allowing us to surpass the average capabilities of textile design studios not only here in the northeastern US, but across the country and even the world.
Here at the MA+CH Studio we work to make textile dreams a reality, and it’s catching some press:
[“People need to know that manufacturing is alive and well and needs our support,” Tonko said. “These products are one-of-a-kind and a great exposition of talent, skill and creativity in our region.”]
